Our Causes

Firesticks Alliance

Learning from Indigenous land management expert Victor Steffensen and The Firesticks Alliance Indigenous Corporation, we aim to share the knowledge of cultural burning practices, and improved ‘reading’ of country, to help restore land. If we can continue to educate by spreading awareness of these practices, there is much evidence that, if adopted, could greatly benefit not only Australians, but all people worldwide.

The #GiveMamaCoffee Mother’s Day Drive

In the spirit of Mother’s Day, we launched a campaign to bring the community of San Antonio together to support 8 local coffee shops who had been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, encouraging the community to shop small. The total funds raised on that day was donated to the Family Violence Prevention Services - Battered Women and Children’s Shelter of San Antonio, Texas.

Community Water Project

In partnership with Source Water and Australian Indigenous Basketball, we were able to install SOURCE Hydropanels creating clean sustainable drinking water for 6 very remote Indigenous Australian communities. This project was the community aspect of the 2019 International Indigenous Basketball & Cultural Showcase.
